The Militia Group Signs Ronnie Day

September 13, 2006 By Bryce Jacobson 2 Comments

The Militia Group is proud to welcome Ronnie Day into the fold. The 18 year-old singer-songwriter from Redwood City, CA has cultivated a massive online buzz; he has over 78,000 Myspace friends and over 1.6 million plays. Day’s full-length debut CD, The Album, is the follow up to his self-released EP which went on to sell over 10,000 copies out of Dayâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s bedroom.

The Album will be in stores on November 14. As Day explains, “The Album is a collection of musical moments, snapshots I took from a chapter of my life. From happy days in ‘Half Moon Bay’ to the road in ‘Written at a Reststop’, and through a breakup with ‘My Only Friend’, I share my journey with song.”

I love Ronnie Day and I’m really glad he got signed, but I also heard that he lied to his fans about Jamie breaking his heart and that they are still together? Just wanted to know if there was any truth in that.

I don’t think so… But what would it matter, anyway? I’m a fan for his talent, not his personal life.
