Takeover Records’ Third Annual “Sign My Band� Contest

Takeover Records will be revealing the top ten finalist for their third annual “Sign My Band” contest.

After collecting thousands of demos from the Warped Tour and via mail, Takeover Records will be revealing the ten finalists for their third annual â┚¬Ã…”Sign My Bandâ┚¬? contest on December 1st. The finalists will be voted on by the public at PureVolume.com, and the winner will receive a three-month sponsorship from Ambiguous Clothing, recording time at The Wedge Studios, and candy from Wonka Candy. The winner will also have a chance to be signed by Takeover, and will be presented to a panel of independent labels, including The Militia Group, Fat Wreck Chords, Hopeless Records, Epitaph, and more.

    what happened with the past two bands? i know they signed but what have they done?

    Strike Fire Fall released an album on Takeover, I don’t think it got much attention though. Monty Are I released their album earlier this year and they have been doing good with that.

    Yeah, that is probably why Takeover isnt gonna sign the winning bands anymore…

    haha smart of take over not to have to sign them but it is still massive exposure for the band, all around good deal
