Hello !!!
How long has it been? 7…8…9 months?? Who knows?!? Regardless, it has been way too long! We miss everyone!!!
So here is what has been holding us up – – –
I started this band about 8 years ago with Torry. The last few years there has been something plaguing our band. Huge fights, drunken arguments, missing cash, lies, etc. The band was coming to a complete end. Honestly, I thought my adventure in this beautiful music business was over. We were in desperate need of change.
First off, understand that Johnny, Adam, Dan, and myself are the absolute closest of friends. I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart, they are some of the most genuine, greatest people I know.
We figured out exactly what kind of change we needed. We needed to have fun being in a band again, putting everything and anything into it…and we needed to have every member dedicate themselves 150% or more. A new singer was what we needed to get back to that level.
We didn’t want to change singers to some kid we found through MySpace or whatever. We decided to write with our long time friend Micah Bentley. He is a very talented song writer from our hometown and old high school. We honestly had no idea how it would pan out. I feel like the results speak for themselves. I have never been so happy to be in a band.
This was a decision that was made for our families, manager, crew, friends, and especially you guys. We want to be in a position where we are happy again. We want to make sure that the leader of this band is real. Someone that would not do the things that Torry did to his friends. This band is stronger than I have ever seen in the last 8 years. I was worried, but now I know, this was the greatest decision ever made by us. We are having fun again.
The new singer of A Change of Pace is Micah Bentley. This is not some random kid off the streets!!! We have known Micah for years. Not only is Micah a brilliant musician, he is truly a good person. Come out to the shows and introduce yourself to him, and you can find out for yourself.
Feel free to ask questions or leave comments for Micah welcoming him. If you feel like leaving something negative – GO BLOG!!!! hahah.
We are still the same A Change of Pace. We will still be playing all the old songs. This wasn’t the Torry Jasper band. This is A Change of Pace. You guys are more A Change of Pace than he ever will be. WE ARE BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Torry Jasper was a great singer all in all. Okay there may have been some problems but I don’t think dissing him is the appropriate thing to do
the songs seem different without torry. where is he now? i miss the old change of pace.
this band is no where near the same without torry jasper. he was legit and gave the band life. the rest of you guys are all great band members but your not a change of pace anymore. change the band name or something, the band will never be as electrifying without him
Torry is a very talented singer and will eventually find himself on the right path with a more greatful band. I saw no need in dissing Torry. You could have made up a more peaceful story such as he needed some time alone. But the way you guys went about this is unfortunate. I personally believe he is why the band became so popular. Everyone at my school heard about A Change Of Pace and absolutely loved them. Everyone knew about them when Torry was the singer. Now if you ask those same people now, they would say, “a change of what?” Isn’t that what Obama had in his slogan? I am a fan of the old A Change Of Pace. The catch phrase out with the old, in with the new definetly needs to be switched around. Sorry but no Torry=no success

unfortunately i will have to agree with these guys, man you guys were like my FAVORITE band 100% i knew you were going BIG until you kicked out torry… that was a big mistake, torry ws a very talented guy, i dont like a change of pace now man.. im sorry..
and honestly, if you don’t bring torry back into the band you will not go anywhere..

you guys are not the same, just compare prepare the masses with the new cd or ep or whatever it is.. man prepare the masses is like ALOT better
im very dissapointed , you guys were going to go BIG and you messed it up, you could have taken a break and talk to torry and told him you were gonna kick him out and everything so he understood.. or kick him out for a couple months..
anyways.. can you guys let me know if torry has another band? or his myspace or facebook, id really love to hear his music if he has something new..

That im aware of, Torry is not in a band at the moment but there is a talk about him doing his own solo work. Unfortunetly things like this happen in bands.
This band is TERRIBLE now. the only reason they got somewhat big in the first place was becasue of torry jasper. Why get rid of the only thing that made you good? and on top of that you ditch him with the least amount of class possible. Infact i cant even figure out why your still signed to a label after putting out that shit you guys call music on your last album
ACOP used to be F****** awesome.. Torry was BA and gave ACOP a distinct sound.. they definitely messed up by kicking him out and taking in Micah. Now its too F***** girly of music and every song is forgettable… Kinda like the band is now. Now the band sounds like every other band out there…. Bring back TJ or change the name of the band…
Bahaha Micah Bentley is awful compared to the old singer. long live torry jasper. who cares if he was a drunk, he was why your music sounded good for a while.

i have to restrain my laughter when i here this band now. the only fans they seem to have left are the oblivious 12 year old girls left over from the Torry Jasper days. the new stuff sounds like a joke.. literally
When I found A Change of Pace, I was so excited. Torry had a different voice then everyone else, not to rough to be metal or screamo, and not to hip to be justin bieber. I went to their website, and see this Micah kid, and i’m like “fuck this shit.” I’m very pissed to see you dissing Torry in this way, and I most deffinity can not stand this band now. I downloaded all of ACOP’s old songs, then I changed the band name to “Torry Jasper.” He better be making some new stuff on his own or with another band, cause I’d deffinity love him. 🙂 You’re change was deffinity not for us.

a change of pace is a big joke now.. i CANT believe you kicked him out like that was the WORST decision you could have done, like his voice was the most unique part of the band.

A lot of us Change of Pace fans were quite frankly pissed off that Torry left, and the fact the band put out 1 garbage ep and full length without him is baffling in it’s own right.
