The Summer Set Ready New Album; Tour Dates

May 22, 2011 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

The Summer SetThe Summer Set have set July 19th as the release date for their new album, Everything’s Fine. The frist single “Someone Like You” is available on [itunes link=”http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/someone-like-you/id437975726?uo=4″ title=”The Summer Set – Someone Like You” text=”iTunes”] and you can pick-up one of the special pre-orders here. The 11 track album was recorded in Los Angeles with super-producer John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, Jonas Brothers, Switchfoot, Andrew W.K.).

The title is a bit sarcastic,” admits guitarist John Gomez. “Our first record was just one emotion. Everything’s Fine is yin and yang. We’ve had some ups and downs recently, some breakups, some general trials and tribulations. This is a record that says we’re young, but growing up and experiencing new things. So in a way, it’s optimistic, too.”
