“Dr Jeckyll & Mr Fame was one of seven songs we wrote at the beginning of the record when we were just starting to look for a voice. I took a trip to London to do some auditions and ended up blazing a credit card at Nobu instead (sorry TL). This is where the line “I miss america, I miss the uk” comes from. Its the closest to FAD or IOH of anything word wise as its the oldest. It’s had a couple musical incarnations too-it sounded kinda like Elastica meets Republica when we first started working on it. Its funny how much these songs have changed and how they are all so different from each other but somehow fit together as a body of work. Talking about music is like dancing about architecture is something Patrick used to say so click the play button and I’ll stop talking.” – Pete Wentz
