Taste of Chaos has really taken a turn for the worse. This has to be the most horrible line up ever. If you want metal, type your favorite band into http://www.last.fm . This will generate a play list for you to scroll through and find new bands, better ones. If you want REAL metal, type in “Bring me the Horizon” for starters, or “through the eyes of the dead”. Sure, I do appreciate A7f for bringing metal to the pop scene, but they have become so watered down in recent years. And Atreyu lost contact with their roots in metal at least 4 to 6 years ago. Around the same time that Poison the Well (original hardcore, look up the album, “opposite of december”) went south with the release of “come before you”, and Eighteen Visions released “vanity” (which was just depressing). And bullet for my valentine has always been cookie cutter metal. I got no beef with bless the fall. Its good to see those guys still around. This is just a line up the ghosts of former metal bands (excluding the international talent; that kicks ass). I suppose there is nothing seriously wrong with getting excited over this line up, but accepting sub-par music as “great” simply keeps you from searching for that next great band; That next great sound. The lead singer of “Norma Jean” (formally lutikris), Josh Scogan, left his former band and created “The Chariot” sometime after the release of “bless the martyr, kiss the child”, and frankly took the talent and originality with him. Not only is the new sound absolutely amazing and refreshing, the band really shines live. Out of every band I have ever seen (including all domestic bands on the T.O.C lineup), The Chariot definitely tops the list of greatest showmen i’ve seen. Just go to last.fm or pandora.com and generate yourself a playlist (absolutely free, im not promoting them, these sites just have helped me immensley with the variance of bands I am verse in), and find yourself a new favorite band. You will not regret it.

Avenged is fun, Atreyu is super boring, B.F.M.V is alright, and B.T.F is pretty good. I just saved you 30 or 40 bucks, however much it is now a days.
