Cute Is What We Aim For Cancel Japan Tour Dates

June 25, 2007 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Cute Is What We Aim For has canceled their upcoming Japan tour dates due to internal issues. You can read a full message from the band below.

It has been a dream of ours to someday travel to Japan on a vacation, let alone to play the music we work so hard to create. Unfortunately we as a band have run into some internal issues with the people that surround us. After much thought we have decided that it is best for us as a band to delay our trip to Japan until after this summer. This has come as a surprise to us and we are truly disappointed that we are in this position both for the fans and for ourselves.

Often times it is better to be safe and be patient for the greater good of the situation. This is one of those times. We are all currently working very hard to make this whole situation right again. We are trying reschedule the two shows immediately to be this September, as soon as we are finished our main stage run on this summer’s Warped Tour. I hope everyone understands that this is not something we wanted to happen but it was out of our control. It is important for us as a band to just make sure as a whole that things are running smoothly so when we do come to your country, we can make it the best it can be.

Our deepest apologies go out to all of you have believed in us as a band and those who were planning on attending our debut in Japan. We promise to make it up to each and everyone of you. We are going to make it worth the wait, there is no doubt about that.

Thank you so kindly for your understanding and for standing by us through the good times and the not so good times,

Shaant, Tom, Fred and Jeff

June 25, 2007 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Jet Lag Gemini‘s new album Fire The Cannons has been pushed back to October 9th. You can read a full message from the band below.

Hey everyone,

Our full-length album will now be released on October 9th instead of the previously announced august release date. We know, we know.. 2 months sounds like forever! However, there are a few amazing opportunities presenting themselves that have caused us to push back the release date. We hope you understand. Also, word on the street is the album leaked. That version is NOT the final album that will be in stores in October. Once again, thank you all for your neverending love and support. Get your party hats on and we’ll see you all on tour this summer!

Lately I have been addicted to A Thorn For Every Heart‘s new album, It’s Hard To Move You. Due out in July this will be one of the years best sing along albums.

Also be sure to check out Boys Night Out who’s new self-titled album is in stores this Tuesday.

This past week I’ve really enjoyed Straylight Run‘s new album, The Needles the Space.

The Morning Light has impressed me as well with their debut effort, The Sounds of Love.

Lastly, on Thursday I caught a set by a great band called Love Me Electric. Have a great week everyone!
