New Atlantic Sign to Eyeball Records; Release a Digital Single

November 28, 2006 By Bryce Jacobson 1 Comment

New Atlantic has officially signed to Eyeball Records. You can read the press release below.

“We’re honored that New Atlantic chose to sign with us”, said label co-owner Marc Debiak, “We immediately connected with the band as friends which only strengthened our endless admiration for their talent and work ethic. Not to mention they are some really handsome dudes”.

New Atlantic issued the following official statement to fans and friends:
“Weâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢ve noticed the rumors floating around about us and we are happy to announce that we have signed contracts with Eyeball Records. For those of you who have been following us for a while, you are aware that this release is long overdue. That is because of the fact that we are incredibly particular about who we surround ourselves with. We have spent the last 2 years building our team out of people who we love and trust. We have been especially careful in our label search and were pleasantly surprised when Eyeball approached us and showed us what they have to offer. We love their attitudes and understanding of music. Most importantly, they have a great sense of who New Atlantic is and what is right for us.”

To celebrate the announcement the band and label released “Wire And Stone,” a brand new online-exclusive track featuring guest vocals by the band’s longtime friend Will Pugh of Cartel. This version of the song will not be on the upcoming album and can be purchased on iTunes, as well as many other digital stores.

Currently, the band are in Seattle recording their debut album with producers Casey Bates and Bobby Darling of Gatsby’s American Dream. The new album, titled “The Streets, The Sounds, and The Love” will be in stores everywhere on April 10th, 2007.
