Bryce Jacobson – Check out Blinded Black who’s new album, Under The Sunrise, is in stores this week.
Tyler Hayes – Anberlin, The Secret Handshake, and shameless self promotion leads me to say my article on Virb.com which can be read here.
Love Hate Hero, Blinded Black Tour
Vans and Purevolume.com are teaming up to bring you a Spring 2007 tour with some of rockâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s most up-and-coming bands: Love Hate Hero, Vanna, Blinded Black and Morello. The tour will kick off on March 19th in Lewisville, TX and will run until April 28th, ending in Blinded Blackâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s hometown of St.Louis, MO.
Vans is providing full retail and online support for this tour including an impressive contest with prizes from all the bands and record labels along with some Vans merchandise and some other goodies. Purevolume.com has come to the table with full online support as well and will be hosting the tourâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s official tour page, which will have free streams of songs from all the bands as well as a contest and most updated tour dates. Absolutepunk.net will be the place to go for tour exclusives ranging from interviews and chats with the bands to news and, of course, a contest.
These four bands come from all over the United States and beyond. Love Hate Hero represents the West Coast (Los Angeles), Blinded Black is from the Mid-West (St.Louis), Vanna call the East Coast home (New England), and Morello come all the way from Ireland. Although not household names yet, these bands have a lot going for them right now along with the backing from some established independent labels: Epitaph Records, Ferret Music, SideCho Records, and I-Scream Records.

Sidecho Signs…
Sidecho Records has officially added another rock act to complement their already eclectic roster. Ladies and Gents, please welcome Blinded Black. You can read the press release below.
Blinded Black deliver a unique style by combining a heavy synthesizer sound with power-rock. Hailing from St. Louis, MO, the band developed a strong fan base with constant self-promotion and non-stop touring. The band will deliver their debut LP early 2007 that is tentatively titled If Timingâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s Everythingâ┚¬Ã‚¦
Blinded Black have appeared on tours with Bleed the Dream, A Change of Pace, Limbeck, Letter Kills and have made multiple Warped Tour appearances. The fruits of constant touring propelled Blind Blackâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s current EP, Sealed with a Stitch, to the third top-selling rock artist at Vintage Vinyl, with Fall Out Boy taking second place.
Alternative Press magazineâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s Aaron Burgess has featured Blinded Black in its â┚¬Ã…”Unsigned Band of the Monthâ┚¬? section. The passion Blinded Black put into their music, expresses their desire to grow and produce the best music possible.
