Blink-182 have announced a few UK tour dates for next summer. More dates will be announced later. The band hopes to finish up recording by May and release their album shortly after that. Mark Hoppus talked more in his latest studio update.

In rough terms, I’d say we’re working with the better part of ten or so songs at this point.  There’s still a long to way to go before the album is done, but already it seems like the songs are both taking a step even further than we took on the last album, while also going back to the sound of some of the earlier albums.  And the ideas keep coming.

Mark Hoppus has announced on his Twitter that Blink 182 has returned to the studio to re-commence working of their new album. Expect the new album to be released sometime in 2011.

Blink 182 will be playing their one North American date on Sunday September 26th at the KROQ Epicenter. More information on that here.

In a recent interview, Tom DeLonge stated that Blink 182 would resume recording in June. DeLonge also talks about the addiction he had to Vicodin and the plane crash that brought the members of Blink 182 back together.

A few dates for the Blink 182 Europe Tour have been announced for Summer 2010.
