Modest Mouse Reveal Album Details
Modest Mouse have announced track titles for We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, and that the album will drop March 20 on Epic Records. In addition to featuring ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, the album will showcase Shins frontman James Mercer on three tracks, including “We’ve Got Everything,” “Florida,” and “Missed the Boat.” We Were Dead will also include 10 other tunes with the following titles: “March Into the Sea,” “Fire It Up,” “Parting of the Sensory,” “Fly Trapped in a Jar,” “Education,” “Little Motel,” “Steam Engenius,” “Spitting Venom,” “People As Places As People,” and “Invisible.”

The Shins Announce U.S. Tour
The Shins will launch their American tour in support of their new album, Wincing the Night Away (due January 23 on Sub Pop). The band will also perform “Phantom Limb” and “New Slang” on “Saturday Night Live” on January 13.
