The Higher regrets to inform everyone that due to personal and creative issues, Tom Oakes has decided to take leave from the band. We wish him the best in his future projects. The Higher will continue on and will perform at all dates posted. The Higher wishes to thank all their fans for their understanding, support and love during this time and hopes to see you on tour.

Dear and the Headlights were at home in Arizona writing the follow-up to 2007’s Small Steps, Heavy Hooves when they were offered the opening slot. They couldn’t refuse the chance to tour with one of the most influential bands of the last decade, and a talented young band who in just a few years have broken into super stardom.
